- Just a 20 minute drive to East Lake Toho there is a sandy beach, children's play area and excellent freshwater fishing with high numbers of trophy bass, catfish and other species.
- Lakeside Community Park is a few minutes walk from the villa and has a covered children's play area with swings, slides etc, floodlight tennis courts as well as basketball courts
- East Coast beaches are an hour away and the Gulf Coast two hours. Deep sea fishing, costing about $55 per person is available at Cape Canaveral, on the East Coast, close to Kennedy Space Centre about one hour drive from the villa.
- Two excellent nearby golf courses are the Kissimmee Bay Golf & Country Club and Remington Golf and Country Club.
